My First Tank - 40 Gallon Reef

Here is my first saltwater tank I set up, back in September of 2005.  It originally was set up with a Fillstar X3 Canister Filter, but was later exchanged with a 25 gallon sump.  I also had a Remora Skimmer.  The stand and canopy I built myself, which was also my first woodworking project.

The inhabitants were as follows:

Fish
2 Ocellaris Clownfish, 2 Blue-Green Chromis, Coral Beauty Angelfish,
Six-Line Wrasse, Royal Gramma, Mandarin Dragonet

Inverts
2 Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp, Blood Shrimp, Bullseye Pistol Shrimp, Hermit Crabs (Blue-Legged, Scarlet-Leg, Electric Orange), Cateye Snails, Bumblebee Snails, Seahare Nudibranch, Sandsifting Starfish, Sebae Anemone

Corals
Green Tree Coral, Pink Hammers, Multiple Colors of Zooanthids, White Star Polyps, Open Brain, Moonstone Coral, Purple Montipora, Yellow Scroll Cup, Hydnophora, Acropora, Lettuce Coral, Orange Yuma Ricordias, Multiple Colors of Mushrooms, Gorgonians, Finger Leather

Unfortunately, when I moved into a house, my 40 gallon reef tank did not survive the move.  I learned a lot about reefkeeping with tank, as it was somewhat harder to maintain than larger tanks.  I miss that tank.
